How agriculturists used soil to combat crime and despair

Determined to search for ways to convert the northwest corridor of Detroit Michigan, Brightmoor from the shadows of crime, drugs and prostitution trafficking,  sheroes, Sheila Hoerauf and Riet Schumack cultivated small plots of vegetables into 15-miles of crops namely,  Brightmoor Farmway

Besides, benefits of kale, green beans, and herbs, Brightmoor Youth Garden complements seven dimensions to well-being in the Brightmoor community.  And aspires youths to seek future careers in agriculture and health eating habits.  Most importantly, Brightmoor Youth Garden is a green space of peaceful connection
